Each of these additional grants is worth EUR 100,000. Their recipients will be announced in conjunction with Building the Future Together — AcademicMedicine and Pharma, a scientific symposium to be held by the Orion Research Foundation and Orion on 10 February 2017.

The recipients will be selected by the Board of the Orion Research Foundation, which represents scientific associations in the supported fields and the five Faculties of Medicine at Finnish universities. Risto Renkonen, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Helsinki, serves as Chair of the Board.
