The Orion Group organization is divided into five business divisions, responsible for commercial activities, and five group-level functions.
Business divisions
In Innovative Medicines, the unmet need of the patient meets innovation that brings the best new treatments to promote health and well-being in society. The Innovative Medicines division is responsible for the strategic leadership of Orion’s core therapy and business areas, Pain and Oncology.
The Branded Products division is responsible for the sales and marketing of Orion’s in-house developed cornerstone products. The division is in charge of launching and growing new branded products in the specialties of respiratory, Parkinson’s disease, other central nervous system, and women’s health through own development and in-licensing.
The purpose of the Generics and Consumer Health business division is to create everybody access to affordable quality medicines and help individuals to promote their health. The division’s offering covers generic drugs, biosimilars and self-care products.
The mission of Animal Health is to improve the quality of life for animals. Animal Health manufactures and markets in-house developed medicines as well as numerous generic drugs for both companion and livestock animals. We are committed to making daily life healthier and less stressful for both animals and the people who care for them.
Fermion develops, manufactures and markets active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). All contract manufacturing services of Orion Group are marketed by Fermion. One of the world's leading manufacturers of several APIs, Fermion is particularly well-known as a manufacturer of highly potent APIs requiring special competence, including those used in cancer drugs.
