The current President of Oriola, Commercial Counsellor Seppo Morri, 59, will take over as Senior Advisor in Orion Corporation as of 1 January 2004. He will also continue as a member of the Boards of Oriola Oy and Kronans Droghandel AB. Mr. Morri joined Oriola having graduated as M.Sc. (Pharm.) in 1971. Since 1988 he has led Oriola as President. With a long career and strong merits in the development of pharmaceutical distribution and logistics he is reaching the retirement age in the autumn of 2004.
The current Senior Vice President of Oriola, Risto Kanerva, Ph.D. (Pharm.), 44, has been appointed new President of Oriola Oy as of 1 January 2004. Mr. Kanerva joined Oriola in 1987 and he has been leading the pharmaceutical wholesale and distribution sector of the company in different management positions from 1988. In 1997 he was appointed Senior Vice President.
Mr. Jouni Pohjonen, M.Sc. (Eng.) will continue as Senior Vice President of Oriola. He will also act as deputy to the President as of 1 January 2004.
