The crane fell on the roof of Orion’s the Espoo site - no personal injury

February 21, 2020 at around 9.30 am a crane fell over the roof at Orion's Espoo factory roofing site. The accident did not cause any personal injury.

At Orion's Espoo site, demolition of the protective structures at the roof was underway. The crane fell over the roof and damaged the roof structures. The accident area is isolated.

The crane drained coolant liquid to a small area on the ground. The fire brigade absorbed the liquid.

Damages will not affect Orion's operations. The case has been transferred to the authorities.
