The Varma-Sampo Mutual Pension Insurance Company has acquired Orion Corporation A-shares on 26 May, 2000. The transaction was based on the agreement of 5 November, 1998 between Varma-Sampo and Instrumentarium Corporation. Following the transaction, the ownership of Varma-Sampo in Orion Corporation exceeds 1/20 (one of twenty). The current ownership of Varma-Sampo of the Orion Corporation share capital is 3.59%. Varma-Sampo's share of the votes provided by all Orion A-shares is 6.61% and its share of the votes provided by all Orion B-shares is 0.42%, altogether 6.33% of the total votes.
After the transaction on 26 May, 2000, the ownership of Varma-Sampo in Orion Corporation is as follows:
