We have begun recruiting several scientists from different areas of science to improve especially early-phase drug research. We want to help patients in the best way possible, and to develop new drugs by better understanding the patient and the biology of diseases. That’s why we are looking for you to join our team!

The early-phase drug development at Orion focuses on research into the central nervous system, cancer and rare diseases and on biological drug research. Our central nervous system research focuses on selected patient segments in Parkinson’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and neuropathic pain. The main goal of our cancer research is to develop better treatments with new mechanisms of action for prostate cancer and steroid hormone-dependent breast cancer. In our research into rare diseases we focus on progressive and serious diseases that reduce quality of life at a young age and hereditary diseases that reduce life expectancy for which there are no suitable drugs available.
