As of 2009, Orion  started reporting on sustainability based on the GRI guidelines. Our first Sustainability Report, provided on this website as a web publication, covers the years 2007-2009.   

Previously, Orion has published concise reports on environmental affairs on an annual basis. These reports for the years 2006, 2007 and 2008 are available in pdf files below. The reports are available in English and Finnish.

A great proportion of substances emitted into the water systems will end up in the oceans. By good management of our waste waters we can protect the unique species, such as the grey seal (Halichoerus grypus), living in the Baltic Sea. Orion is committed to the protection of the Baltic Sea, both operationally and by supporting the project financially.
