Non-compliance

Orion encourages its employees to report on any observed non-compliance with the Code of Conduct or other misconduct whenever there are grounds for doing so. Misconduct means action or neglect by which people seek unfounded and/or unjust economical or other benefit for themselves or for a third party, directly or indirectly. Orion’s employees are anticipated to regularly assess the risks of misconduct in their working environment and to do their best to actively prohibit possible events of non-compliance.

Employees are encouraged to bring non-compliance issues to their supervisor's attention. If this is not feasible, they should contact their supervisor's supervisor, the Human Resources department, or the Senior Manager, Corporate Internal Audit. If necessary, the case can also be reported directly by e-mail to  groupinternalaudit-at-orion.fi. Cases reported will be handled as quickly as possible, confidentially and impartially, and if necessary, in co-operation with the Group’s Legal Affairs department. Any breaches of the Code or other corporate guidelines or policies will be investigated, and, based on the findings, appropriate corrective measures will be taken, which may include further training or other measures.
