Compliance with laws and regulations
Compliance with the law is a requirement at Orion. Each employee is expected to be familiar with the laws and regulations applicable to his/her area of responsibility.
Orion employees are supposed to be familiar with the laws and regulations applying to their jobs. Management is required to see to it that the relevant regulations are accessible and at hand.
In addition to the job-specific regulations, Orion anticipates its employees to comply with the local legislation concerning health, safety and environment and to see to it that also the facilities and working premises are equipped with accessories and labelling ensuring work safety.
Orion’s businesses are subject to numerous regulations. In the marketing of pharmaceuticals, for example, Orion is required to follow not only the relevant legislation and regulations but also the commonly adopted national and international guidelines provided in the EFPIA Code of Practice on the Promotion of Medicines and the corresponding guidance of IFPMA.
