The R&D organization has expressed its ambition to be "The Voice of Science and the Patient" at Orion.

This ambition is the basis of our mission: In an open and inspiring culture with optimal structure and processes we will deliver Orion's portfolio which adds maximum value by balancing the risk and thereby supports Orion Corporation Strategy.

For this purpose, the R&D organization initiated in 2007 a project called "The Best R&D Organization in the World by 2017" with the aim of becoming one within the planning period. Four teams, Best Leadership, Best Strategy (including processes), Best Structure and Best Image, involved dozens of people and their recommendations are now the basis of continuous improvement. The goals will be measured rigorously and will form the basis of the always ambitious R&D goals.
