The solid dosage forms manufactured and packaged  at Orion´s Espoo and Turku plants include tablets (coated or uncoated, immediate or extended release) and hard gelatin capsules packaged in blisters, plastic or glass jars/bottles or bulk containers.

Conventional, hormonal and cytotoxic products are each handled in dedicated departments. Bulk batch sizes vary from 20 to 2000 kg, depending on the process and product requirements. Several different manufacturing process options are available. (e.g. dry mixing, high shear or fluid bed granulation, roller compaction).
