Confidentiality
Confidentiality is at the heart of product development at Fermion. B
efore information about a specific project is exchanged, a Confidentiality Agreement is established which will protect information sensitive to either the customer or Fermion.
Confidentiality is retained for a period of five years or longer, if so agreed. Confidential information includes all data which are disclosed by one party to the other. Upon request, Fermion can provide customers with its standard version. Several versions of this document are available, including a one-way version, which protects the releasing party, or a two-way version protecting both parties.
Where the purpose of conducting business requires or anticipates free flow of information between Fermion and its customers, the latter version is recommended. Of course, Fermion is also prepared to review CDA-versions suggested by its customers.
Once a confidentiality agreement is established, the flow of information can follow traditional ways of information (phone conferences, email and fax). Highly successful are internet-based communication media like encrypted email and especially the e-Room program, specifically designed for the requirements of the parties involved.
