During the discovery process and preclinical phases, speed in manufacturing API’s is of key importance, while considerations about economy, type of chemical reactions and reactants used have a necessarily lower urgency. This is the domain where chemistry-related CRO’s (contract research organizations) are primarily active. Fermion’s focus is on further developing compounds which have been successful in these initial stages and now require larger scale in manufacturing, preparation for a sound regulatory filing strategy and evaluation of efficient economics and technical feasibility.

Fermion actively seeks to develop and maintain a network of high quality CROs with whom it interacts on early stage projects.  In addition to increasing value to the customer and offering a broader range of services, this cooperation allows Fermion to offer a seamless and smooth transition from small to large scale development and manufacturing.
