We are one of the leading companies active in developing and manufacturing API’s for the innovative and generic drugs industry.

Our company was originally founded in 1969 to develop products manufactured through fermentation processes.  Today, as the wholly-owned subsidiary of Orion Corporation, we offer Contract Research and Manufacturing Services to our worldwide customer base. This is how we came to be known as Fermion.

To date, Fermion has developed and manufactured the API for 10 innovative pharmaceutical products that have been commercialized worldwide or are currently awaiting regulatory approval.

Fermion focuses on further developing products in P II or later and utilizes a large network of CRO’s for product candidates in earlier development stages.

We have two FDA-inspected plants with a capacity exceeding 320 m3 and manufacture more than 220 tons of API per year.
