In addition, Orion aims to further improve the profitability of its Animal Health business through in-licensed products to provide owners of animals with a full range of products they need.

In addition Orion markets and sells products of several international manufacturers in the Nordic countries. The market area for veterinary medicines covers the Nordic countries, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Orion has country organisations for Animal Health in all of these regions.

The animal sedatives originated by Orion are used by veterinarians broadly around the world. These products are marketed by several partners under license from Orion.

The Animal Health division aims to make use of molecules Orion has developed for humans.
